This project consisted of a new 8,500 SF fire department for the rural town of Albion. This consisted of a 5,600 SF apparatus bay, a 900 SF storage mezzanine, and 2,000 SF for support and administration spaces. The building was constructed of both pre-engineered metal building and conventional wood framing. The exterior is comprised of metal siding, EIFS, and stone.

Design Build/ Construction Management

We provide pre-construction services to the owner and the architect early in the design process to help develop project budgets. During that design process a guaranteed maximum price is established based on documents prepared by the design team and approved by the owner. We then manage the construction project to keep costs from exceeding that guaranteed maximum price. We also perform construction tasks for work packages in which Shores Builders is the low bidder. Self-performing these packages allows Shores Builders to help control and expedite the schedule.
